- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Spread cereal on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Add pie filling; spread evenly over the cereal, taking care not to mix together. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over apples. Top with butter slices and pecans.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden and bubbly, 50 to 60 minutes. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
