Fried Zucchini Flowers

Fresh zucchini flowers are dipped in an easy batter, then fried until golden and crispy - a must-try treat when it's zucchini season!

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 eggs

  1. Clean zucchini flowers and dry with a paper towel.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Whisk milk, eggs, and olive oil together in a separate bowl; stir in flour mixture until batter is smooth.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  4. Working in batches if needed, dip flowers into the batter, then gently place into the hot oil. Fry until golden and crispy, 2 to 5 minutes. Transfer fried flowers to a paper towel-lined plate and season with salt.
