Slow Cooker Chai

This crockpot chai made with whole spices, black tea, and condensed milk is spicy, creamy, and sweet. It's so easy to make with the help of your slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 3½ quarts water
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 15 green cardamom pods, split open and seeded
  • 15 slices fresh ginger, peeled
  • 25 whole cloves
  • 3 whole black peppercorns
  • 8 black tea bags
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

  1. Combine water, cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, ginger, cloves, and peppercorns in a slow cooker. Cook on High for 8 hours.
  2. Add tea bags to the slow cooker and steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Strain liquid into a clean container; stir in condensed milk. Serve hot.
