Grand re-opening in Lowell gives Strack & Van Til customers brightest, freshest…

What’s one of the ways to identify when a business is committed to the communities it serves? When it invests in continuous improvement of its offerings and the buildings in which they are housed.
Strack & Van Til is a Region leader in updating and innovating, as evidenced by the latest multi-million-dollar upgrade and expansion of its Lowell store.
To be an industry leader, a grocery business has to keep up with trends. While Strack & Van Til remains true to its roots — delivering high quality products, great value and outstanding customer service for more than 95 years — the company also knows its customers want the best place to shop.
With only a refresh when Strack & Van Til bought the Lowell store from the former Wilco supermarket in 2010, it was time for a complete makeover.
Step inside the Lowell location and see the magic for yourself: Expanded floor space, new lighting and shelving, modern and energy-efficient refrigerators, a new roof and a reconfiguration of the customer traffic pattern to create a better shopping experience. The upgrades are transformative. Larger produce, deli and seafood departments and more fresh food and meals including customer-favorite sushi add to the appeal. Plus, all the renovations took place without disrupting the store’s daily operations.
“We prioritized our customers’ safety and efficiency every step of the way and deeply appreciate their patience during our journey to create a best-in-class shopping experience for them,” says Strack & Van Til President Jeff Strack. “We’ve always tried to make our customers’ lives easier and offer the types of products they want — including healthier, fresh food that’s convenient, too.”
The renovation of the Lowell store is just one of the projects taken on by Strack & Van Til. Recent activity includes a facelift to the Cedar Lake store and improvements to the newly acquired DeMotte and Winfield locations. Strack hints that there are more store upgrades to come to keep other locations contemporary and cutting edge.
Whether you’re a loyal Lowell shopper or a first-time customer, don’t miss out on the revamped Strack & Van Til store — where fresh meets fabulous!
