INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup Clearly by Best Choice Organic Sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
3 Tablespoons canola oil
1 egg
2 teaspoons Clearly by Best Choice Organic Vanilla
1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup Clearly by Best Choice Organic Chocolate Chips
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl add cocoa powder, white sugar, melted butter, canola oil, egg and vanilla. Using a hand mixer beat ingredients until fluffy and incorporated. In a separate bowl add flour, baking powder and salt. Stir to evenly distribute. Slowly beat the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a dough forms. Stir in chocolate chips. Scoop about 2 tablespoons at a time and place on baking sheet, keep cookies about 2 inches apart. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Let cool on pan for five minutes then remove and store in an airtight container once the cookies are fully cooled.
