1 lb Round Steak or Flank Steak, cut into strips
4 cups broccoli florets
1 onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, chopped
2 Tablespoons cornstarch, divided
2 Tablespoons water
1 teaspoon Clearly Organic Garlic Powder, divided
2 Tablespoons Clearly Organic Olive Oil
1/3 cup soy sauce
2 Tablespoons Clearly Organic Brown Sugar
2 Tablespoons Rice Vinegar
1/4 cup Clearly Organic Beef Broth
1/2 teaspoon Clearly Organic Ground Ginger
1 Tablespoon Clearly Organic Sesame Seeds
In a medium size bowl, combine 1 Tablespoon cornstarch, 2 Tablespoons water and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Whisk contents then add beef strips and toss to combine.
In a large skillet or wok over medium heat add oil and onion slices. Stir-fry for 5 minutes then add broccoli and cook for another 5 minutes or until broccoli has reached desired doneness. While vegetables cook whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, beef broth remaining garlic powder and ground ginger. Remove vegetables from skillet and set aside. Add beef in cornstarch mix and chopped garlic to skillet on medium high heat. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until beef has reached desired doneness. Add soy sauce mix to skillet over medium high heat, continue cooking until sauce thickens. Add broccoli, onions and sesame seeds to stir fry then gently mix to combine. Remove from heat and serve warm over cooked Clearly Organic rice.
