A jar of marinara sauce doesn’t just have to be for noodles. Pasta sauce is very versatile and flavorful making it complementary to a variety of different foods. Here are five unique ways to use a jar of pasta sauce.
Enjoy a tomato-based breakfast.
Cook eggs over simmering red sauce. Simmer one cup of Clearly Organic tomato and herb pasta sauce in a skillet. Crack in three eggs, cover and let eggs cook until they have reached your desired doneness. Top with a little pepper and parmesan cheese.
Make soup.
Minestrone soup can easily be made with a jar of pasta sauce. Boil one jar of sauce with 4 cups water. Stir in chopped mixed vegetables, beans and noodles. Cook until noodles and vegetables are tender.
